I started in the construction business at the age of 19 working for Tone Home Improvement Co of Livonia MI. I became a (union) carpenters apprentice at 22 and later recieved my journeymans card.
At 20 I also started a moonlight business drawing additions for builders in my community. I continued this drawing business for 10 years.
In 1970, I became an inspector for HUD and wrote specifications for remodeling homes that had been abandoned and vandalized. This program was the fix for what was known as the "Detroit HUD Scandal".
In 1973 I joined Control Data Corp. to help build data processing centers. I recieved comprehensive construction training at the Builders Exchange of Detroit.
I recievied an Associate of Science from Henry Ford Community College in Architectural construction and technology.
At 27, I founded Computer Floor Service Company and successfully ran that business untill 2000.
In 1980 I recievied a license from the Michigan Public Service Commission as an Energy
Auditor and did energy audits for Detroit Edison (DTE Energy).
I was the founder of the Down River Atari Group in 1985 which out lasted Atari Corp.
In 2000 I recieved a license as a State of Michigan Building Inspector and Code Official. I also recievied a Plan Examiners license. I worked as a building inspector in Dearborn and Inkster Mi.
Lately, I have been remodeling my house trying to incorprate as much salvaged material as possible. I also started development of Sketch-EZ a consumer product, and E-Vault Systems an advanced method of building modular, high security and high efficiency computer server room wall system. The intention of both endeavors was to create jobs.
